The claimant substantially contributes to trial design; independent experts control the statistical plan and safeguards against bias. Both parties sign off on the final protocol before the trial begins.

Extraordinary Trials was founded by Dr. Mark Davis, a naturopathic doctor and board-certified fellow of naturopathic gastroenterology with a passion for providing evidence-based, innovative care, focused on treating complex digestive disorders through a comprehensive approach that addresses root causes.
Dr. Davis is a professor of naturopathic gastroenterology, and has done pioneering work in fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) and helminthic therapy. This expertise allows him to offer advanced treatment options for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and other conditions at his clinical practice, Foundational Medicine.
He is the chair of the research committee for the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and CSO for Anthera, LLC, where he leads research and development in vaginal and fecal microbiota transplantation, furthering the field of microbiome therapeutics through evidence-based innovation.
